 2026 Competitive Calls

1st competitive Call 

Dates: 1st January-31 th January

The number of order requests for NANBIOSIS services, received during this call, was 205, of which:

• 143 proposals were granted and prioritized in the Open Access modality. These competitive granted applications corresponded to 79 scientific research groups of 35 public researh institutions.
• 21 proposals were left “on hold” for being considered Competitive Open Access. Applications on hold, which were shortlisted after proposals were accepted in the Competitive Open Assess mode, could be prioritized and considered in the Open and Competitive Access mode if the previous applications are cancelled. This would ensure that 20% of the Unit capacity is covered in Open and Competitive Access mode. These 21 proposals were submited by 17 research groupos of 15 public researh institutions
• 36 proposals were accepted as Access on Demand: 28 submitted by 21 companies and 13 by 11 research groups affiliated with 7 public institutions.

The execution of the accesses approved  will be carried out following the times asigned by each Unit (according the priorization list in the case of Competitive Open Access mode or agreed upon the Unit after the prioritized access is covered)
