Nb4D group- NANBIOSIS U2 receives the acreditation TECNICO, in the on line event organizes by ACCIO

Las November 27 was held the ACCIO ceremony (on line this year due to the Covid Pandemic restrictions) of disclosure of new TECNIO accreditations.

Aurea Rodriguez, Director of Business Innovation at ACCIO has welcomed the attendees to the event. Later, the TECNIO program Coordinator, Marta Peidro, presented the background and rationale for this accreditation for excellence groups in technology transfer in Catalonia. This year there have been five new groups from among all Catalan universities and research organizations, which have obtained the TECNIO accreditation for the first time, making a total of fifty-four groups accredited in 2020.

The event continued with the presentation of the five new accredited groups, starting with the IQAC-CSIC – CIBER-BBN Nb4D group, coordinator of NANBIOSIS unit 2 Custom Antibody Service (CAbS) that investigates improvements to current clinical diagnostic methods.

After the presentations of the five new groups, the tools and benefits that ACCIO offers to TECNIO groups were explained and the event ended with a round of questions from the attendees, such as what will be the future financing strategy of ACCIO for TECNIO groups or how has it been the response to the recent call for INNOTEC grants

As expressed by Prof M. Pilar Marco: “This seal recognizes us as a tech-transfer agent with distinguishing technological capabilities and increases our visibility in front of the business world.”

Nb4D group – NANBIOSIS Unit 2 CAbS – accredited with the TECNIO seal

The Nb4D group of CIBER-BBN and IQAB-CSIC, coordinator of NANBIOSIS Unit 2 Custom Antibody Service (CAbS), has been accredited with the TECNIO seal.

This accreditation is the hallmark TECNIO granted by the Government of Catalonia, through ACCIÓ, to identify the developers and facilitators of differential technologies in Catalonia. TECNIO is the umbrella brand for catalan technology centres and university research groups dedicated to industrial research and technology transfer.

NANOLIGENT is awarded for the best company in Health Sciences  Price given by the law firm RCD.

The XXIII Investment Forum of ACCIÓ 2018 was celebrated last June 20th  with the aim of connecting with the world of private investment.  ACCIÓ, Company Competitiveness Agency, had previously published a catalog of startups with the most potential startups in Catalonia, projects selected from more than 100 candidatures were presented for the 2018 Investment Forum of ACTION. The 50 companies in this catalog stand out due to their differential nature and innovative value, due to their social impact and the involvement of the entrepreneurial team. They are companies operating in key sectors for the economy of the future such as life and health sciences, ICT and other crucial cutting-edge technologies for industry 4.0 including 3D printing, IoT and virtual reality. NANOMOL, Research Group Coordinator of Unit 6 of NANBIOSIS, accredited with TECNIO certification

NANOMOL, the research group coordinating ICTS “NANBIOSIS” Unit 6, has been accredited with the TECNIO certification as a Technology Developer Organization, until 2019. This TECNIO certification was created by the Government of Catalonia, through ACCIÓ. This certification supports the most qualified agents involved in technology transfer processes, allows companies to access advanced R&D and develop new products and services, and increases the scope of technology projects by finding the most suitable technology partners & suppliers.

NANOMOL is a research group depending on the Institute of Material Science of Barcelona from CSIC, with wide expertise and recognized excellence in the synthesis, processing and study of molecular and polymeric materials with chemical, electronic, magnetic and biomedical properties. NANOMOL is also a member of Biomedical Research Networking center in Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (CIBER-BBN) and of the technology transfer network TECNIO from ACC1Ó-Generalitat de Catalunya. NANOMOL-CSIC of CIBER-BBN is one of the 54 accredited institutions in Catalonia with the new TECNIO seal

At an event held on April 7th 2016 chaired by Hon. Mr. Jordi Baiget, Minister for Business and Enterprise of the Generalitat of Catalonia, were presented the first 54 organizations accredited with the TECNIO seal; one of which was NANOMOL-CSIC, the research group of CIBER-BBN coordinating Unit 6 of NANBIOSIS.

The accreditation is the hallmark TECNIO granted by the Government of Catalonia, through ACCIÓ to identify the developers and facilitators of differential technologies in Catalonia.
